Community Outreach

One Village is proud to support our community through outreach programs that meet families' needs. In partnership with local organizations and faith-based groups, we offer a Community Thanksgiving Dinner, distribute Thanksgiving boxes, provide Christmas assistance, and host a winter coat giveaway to help families. We also supply weekend backpack food bags to students at the New Miami School District. Our annual Community Day & Health Fair offers valuable resources and screenings to promote community well-being.

Community Thanksgiving Dinner

The Community Thanksgiving Dinner is a collaborative effort between One Village of New Miami and the Hamil-Turkey Initiative that brings families and community members together during the holiday season. This event provides a warm, welcoming space to share a Thanksgiving meal and support families in need.

Thanksgiving Boxes

The Thanksgiving Box Distribution is a collaborative effort between One Village of New Miami, the Hamil-Turkey Initiative, and Crossroads Church of Mason. Through this partnership, Thanksgiving boxes are distributed to families in the community and the New Miami Local School District to help ensure they have the resources needed to prepare a holiday meal. This effort reflects our shared commitment to supporting families, promoting unity, and meeting community needs during the Thanksgiving season.

Winter Coat Giveaway

The Winter Coat Giveaway is an outreach effort of One Village of New Miami designed to support families in the community and the New Miami Local School District during the colder months. This initiative provides children with warm winter coats and essential cold-weather items to help ensure safety and comfort throughout the season.

Weekend Backpack Food Program

One Village of New Miami provides weekly weekend food bags to students within the New Miami School District who may face food insecurity when school meals are not available. Each bag includes easy-to-prepare items that help ensure children have reliable access to food from Friday through Sunday. This program supports student well-being, reduces family stress, and strengthens our commitment to meeting the needs of youth and families in the New Miami community. Through community partnerships and dedicated volunteers, we work to ensure every child has the nourishment they need to return to school ready to learn.
